A really great team performance that put Winchester to the sword. It was a significant step up from last week. Winchester are no weaker than Woking but today we really made the most of our strengths. The intensity was better right from the start, although in the early stages we were still a little bit anxious and so did not convert opportunities as effectively as we should have. That quickly changed as we got into the game. The most impressive things about this game were the number of points that came from good team work and the number of different ways in which we were able to score. It was a good to see everyone on the score sheet, 5 players with double figures and Auriol and Nicky both make a couple of 3-pointers.
Scorers were Becky 27, Jenny 19, Reanna 14, Auriol 13, Jade 12, Nicky 8, Amanda 4 and Laura 4. Sorry we did not have stats because the number of assists, steals and low number of turnovers would all have been impressive.
