Ultimately a comfortable win but it took us a while to get going. I thought we seemed anxious and frenetic at the beginning and as a result a bit short of assurance and intensity. It is difficult to know for sure why that was – any ideas on why and suggestions on how we avoid in future gratefully accepted. Once we got into the game we always had more options to hurt them and more depth in our squad, but it was hard to maintain a commanding lead. We need to better and there is lots to work on.
We only committed 9 turnovers good and no one had more than 2 so that was good. We had 14 steals led by Becky’s 6 and Amanda led the assists with 6, followed by Laura’s 3. Leading scorers were Becky 23, and Jade 15.
