A great team-mate is a leader.
You don’t have to be the best player on your team to be a leader, you don’t need to be the captain and you don’;t need to be a vocal leader. Every player can lead by their actions. Bring energy to every practice and to every game and don’t talk bad about team-mates of coaches outside the team environment.
