Suns eclipse Yateley; Storm walk all over Bournemouth; Jags and Falcons lose tight games
The Suns are the Aztecs Team of the Week after their crushing and palindromic 62-26 win at Yateley against the Silverbacks Ladies. The Suns are next in action on Sunday 8th December when they take on Farnborough in the Richard Bell Plate at Wellington College at 3.00pm.
The Storm were warmed-up and ready to play when only half the Bournemouth Uni team turned up at Wellington College; the other half of their team was stranded in the New Forest following a car breakdown. 20-0 to the Storm was the outcome. The Storm next play at Wellington College on Sunday 8th December against Southampton Sharks Ladies at 4:15pm.
The Jags are third in Division 1 after suffering a 49-60 loss to the unbeaten South Bucks Comets. They play next on Tuesday 3rd December at Woodley Thunder at 8:20pm.
The Falcons had a tremendous game against Maidenhead Royals, eventually going down by just 9 to the team the Jags had beaten by just 9 a few weeks ago in the cup. The Falcons face Bracknell Cobras Kai away at Wellington College on Tuesday 3rd December at 8:15pm.
The Lemmings play tonight (28th Nov) at Windsor against the Warriors who have only lost once this season, and again next Tuesday at home against Swindon Shock starting at 7:30pm.
Training for the men’s teams is set for the three two weeks with the Jags at Kings Academy on Monday 2nd, 9th and 16th December (8:30 – 10pm) and the Lemmings and Falcons at Wellington College on Thursday 5th, 12th and 19th December (7:45 – 10pm).

The Surrey Scorchers lost a close game at the Copper Box in London and so are out of the early season BBL Cup competition. The league action starts in Guildford on Saturday 7th with a 7.00pm tip against Bristol Flyers. By then the Scorchers will have two new players following the departure of imports Chip Flanigan and Marcus White.
