On Friday 18 May the Aztecs Basketball Club celebrated the end of the 2017/18 season atCantley House Hotel in Wokingham.
A drinks reception was followed by the annual awards. Pride of place went to the hugely successful Storm.
The ladies only lost one game all season, a defeat by a single point in the final of the Richard Bell Cup. They won the league at a canter and gained revenge for the cup loss by beating Aldworth Arrows in the play-off final by 21 points.
The Suns were on the rise as their season improved from a mediocre start. They finished second in Division 2 and reinforced their late season development by winning the play-off final against Aldworth Academy Arrows in a thrilling final.

There were votes of thanks and huge appreciation for out-going Chairman of the club Chris Giles and the organiser of the eveningLaura Gier-Jones.
The hog roast and more drinks were consumed and a good time was had by all.
